# About Career Launch

Career Launch was founded on a simple observation: the job search process is broken for recent graduates. Four years of education teaches you how to think, but not how to find the right job, present yourself to employers, or negotiate an offer.

We built Career Launch to fix that. Our 10-step guided program breaks the overwhelming job search into focused, manageable sessions — each no longer than 15 minutes. From understanding who you are to signing your first offer, every step is structured, every tool is practical, and nothing is left to guesswork.

## Why now

The 2025–2026 entry-level job market is the worst recent grads have faced in years, and the underlying conditions are getting structurally harder, not easier. Recent-graduate unemployment was 5.7% in Q4 2025 (Federal Reserve Bank of New York) — the highest in three years. Underemployment among 22–27-year-old degree-holders reached 42.5%, the highest since 2020. AI is collapsing the entry-level rung of the career ladder: Anthropic's CEO has warned that AI could eliminate up to 50% of entry-level white-collar jobs within five years.
