Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Career Launch ("the Service"), operated by Gyre Holdings LLC d/b/a Career Launch ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Career Launch is an AI-powered career coaching platform designed for recent college graduates. The Service provides tools including resume building, mock interview practice, job and internship listings, application tracking, and AI-generated career coaching advice.

3. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial career development purposes. This license does not include the right to:

• Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense access to the Service
• Use the Service to build a competing product or service
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service

4. Accounts and Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at team@careerlaunch.now if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

5. Payment

The Service offers lifetime access through a one-time payment or a 5-month installment plan. Both options provide identical, full access to all features. Installment plans are billed monthly for 5 months; full access is granted from the first payment. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Subscriptions are non-transferable and may only be used by the account holder who purchased them. Military, veteran, and hardship discounts are available — contact team@careerlaunch.now for details. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase; contact us at team@careerlaunch.now for assistance.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or copy any part of the Service
• Upload malicious content or interfere with the operation of the Service
• Misrepresent your identity or provide false information
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Harvest or collect information about other users

7. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to provide career coaching, resume feedback, and interview practice. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content is provided for informational and educational purposes only
• AI output may contain errors or inaccuracies and should not be relied upon as professional, legal, or employment advice
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and deciding how to use any AI-generated content
• We do not guarantee that following AI recommendations will result in employment or any specific outcome
• Your inputs to the AI (resume text, interview responses, etc.) are processed to generate responses but are not used to train AI models

8. Job and Internship Listings

Job and internship listings displayed on the Service are aggregated from third-party sources. We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or legitimacy of any listing. We are not an employer and are not responsible for hiring decisions, job offers, or employment outcomes. Listings may be removed or modified at any time without notice.

9. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create or upload to the Service ("User Content"), including resumes, cover letters, and profile information. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content solely to provide the Service to you. We will not share your User Content with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality — including all code, design, text, graphics, logos, icons, algorithms, and documentation — are the exclusive property of Gyre Holdings LLC and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The Career Launch name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Gyre Holdings LLC.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GYRE HOLDINGS LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Gyre Holdings LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your license to use the Service immediately ceases. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting team@careerlaunch.now. Sections 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, and 16 survive termination.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in Delaware. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.

16. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the Service.
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
• Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
• Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
• Modifications: We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated Terms with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
